We had an old airolite van for years till the walls fall down around the floor. So now we are after a new van. I will be towing the van with a small 3.6ltr. ISUZU truck (1.5tone pay load). On top of the truck we will have a 12ft tinny & on the tray of the truck we will have 2 quad bikes & 2 dogs :-D . We will need the A frame of the van lengthened for another quad bike each bike weighs 300kg. & the tinny 350/400kgs ?? We are hoping for something like this
caravan .
So any help or suggestions on what to buy will be Grate. It must have a shower to wash up after riding that all we ask.
Things can get pritty dirty

What about a Jayco Base Station??
Has a rear storage area that i think would fit the Quad.
Cheers Kev

Hi Earthmover
I'm no expert in caravan weights and balance, but you want a light wieght caravan to tow with your vehicle, and want to carry 300 kg on the drawbar? I don't like the sound of that.

Hi Earthmover & Family
If money was no object I would have a Caria caravan with the Queen size bed above and fold down bunks in the back but it would be big enough to carry a 4.1 or 4.2 m tinny on its own trailer inside or quads inside
I will keep on dreaming in the mean time.
Cheers Michael

Thanks for the reply posts. I was hopping for something more like this
with a shower but I still need to know if the front bed will roll out
if the quad is on the A-frame &, Do they have showers?
Money is always an issue so the caravan will be second hand.
The bikes take priority there! We are in swags at the moment so any upgrade will be an upgrade

OK so we have decided on the van It's going to be a Jayco Expanda Poptop. So dose anyone know of anything that we should look out for defects and the like. We like how the bed ends pop out, but do they leak?
