I read some archived forums about a member successfully loading Oziexplorer onto his Navman My55T using Miopocket 3.0 - I have only just purchase a Navman MY50T as an emergency when my Navman Pocket inconveniently broke whilst we were in
Melbourne. I am keen to keep using Oziexplorer CE for country travel - it just so much more interesting and informative.
I was wondering if anyone can give me a heads-up on the how to and just where to get "Miopocket" safely.

Hi Jo-Anne. I was able to load the Miopocket and Ozi onto my Navman 55T and it works a treat. Good luck with it and yell out if you need some other reference sites. Regards Leigh

Thank you for this information - I will give it a go tomorrow - when the football is on and I have plenty of uninterupted time.

I'm the person who researched and posted all the original info on the Navman S series hacking
at the Pajeroclub forums here. that has now made its way to various other forums and even into the Miopocket instructions. You can apply it to the 50T by finding the actual model number (not 50T) and following the instructions.

Hi Jo- Anne,
I've recently done this hack on a MY-50T.
If you've had time to follow the maze of links you may have found this already; For the MY-50T, the folder you have to create on the SD card for the three files must be titled SEEKER_T510.
As the name varies with each different machine, it's a bit confusing.
The readme file on the gpspassion site will get you through the setting up, although its quite a read as it covers so many different machines.
With so much capability built into MioPocket, don't skimp on the size of the microSD card for the sake of a couple of dollars. I just got an 8gb card for $30.
Topo charts can make pretty large files, and you can also use it for photos, videos etc. Happy travels..
Thanks to Pat on the Pajero site and Osprey on gpspassion who have been such a great help to us beginners.
Darryl
