Drawbar Mounted Bike Racks on a CT

Hi folks,

Wondering if anyone has fitted or found a drawbar mounted bike rack? Am looking for one that will carry 2 kids bikes on the drawbar of the new CT.

Only one I've found thus far is a Fiamma A-Frame mount designed for Jayco's, though it would still work I think ............. http://www.caravansplus.com.au/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=256_166&products_id=2658&osCsid=f35e892b4e221db88481e035fdcddb3d

Interested in any links or photos of drawbar mounted bike racks please!

Thanks
Kylie

I tried to attach bikes to my drawer bar and found two problems. My spare whells hit them when turning, and I had trouble opening the rear door. I do have a dual spare wheel setup, which sticks out further than original setup.
What are you towing with, and is it going to affect opening of doors etc.

I now use a setup that attaches to the spare wheel.

Will be towing with a Saab turbo wagon. No rear spare on the car to worry about, and I'm pretty sure the hatch boot woudl clear any bikes as the CT spare is on the tailgate. Wanted to avoid a tailgate bike rack as we'd have to move it each time we wanted to access the tailgate kitchen, etc.

I had one on my draw bar, but I had an extra long draw bar when I had it built.
there isnt anything around but what I did is bought one of those detachable bike racks the pull out from the bottom. I then welded a bar accross the draw bae where I wanted it then welded the bottom section of the bike rack to that bar, then just simply clipped the top section in when I wanted to use the bike rack.

Good on the camper but better on the car. Some good places to go biking but sometimes you wanna drive there.

On the camper means only good for da camp ground. Can't take the bikes tohe good spot a local or traveller recommends. Like taking a boat and no trailer.
