Hiya seasoned travelers,
I'll be around Kangaroo Valley during the June long weekend. Is there anything in particular that's worth seeing apart from the antique/supplies/cafe etc shops.
Is there any noteworthy 4WDing in the surrounding area?
Cheers.

Hi
Not to sure on any good 4wd tracks. but worth a stop an look a t
Hampton Bridge. and further up the road Fitsroy falls is worth a look.
Nice old pub in Kv for lunch.
and if the weather is good will be busy.
Popular with motor bikes, lots of
twistys.
Not sure exactly the names of the roads Macquarie pass and up to Robertson and back down the other twist one.

Maybe not a winter activity but years back a big group of us hired canoes. We paddled downstream for a couple of hours and the guy we hired them from met us downstream and picked up the canoes.
Can't remember how we got back to the cars, could have been a bus in the deal. It was a great day out. We had about 10 canoes with a crowd of adults and kids all having a ball.
