Hi Mark,

I live in Kalbarri just north of Wagoe farm.

They have powered/unpowered caravan/camping sites and single rooms in donga type units and also chalets with 2 + ? bedrooms not too sure about linen.

The sites and accommodation are basic and the hosts are friendly and with a bit of encouragement will put you on to some memorable fishing and scenery.

The fishing which is accessed by 4wd a short distance away is superb when the weather permits. (the wind can be a problem but mainly in the summer).

The beaches and fishing can be accessed from the south via Lucky bay (rough road)but again a capable 4wd needs to be used and as for Wagoe it is advisable to drop tyre pressures to a level for the worst conditions as some very soft patches will be encountered.

cheers

Hi Mark

I didn't realise you were in the area.

Are you pulling a camper or a caravan?

If you are heading for the Shark Bay area there are some options for using a reasonable tinny up there.

Also if able to go onto less developed tracks and stay away from amenities for a while eg station tracks and camp sites there are some interesting spots to stay at.

If you are coming through Kalbarri I may be able to give you a heads up or email or phone if not.

cheers

Hi mate
We will be up that way in next few days. Camped south of dongara too night and thinking off heading to this wagoe beach place for a couple days depending on the weather as forecasting some rain. Will give you a yell when in kalbarri as what you suggested about some less developed tracks with less people is exactly what we want. Have off road camper so not worried about where we go or if its rough or without facilities cheers mark
