Can anyone tell me if free wheeling hubs can be fitted to my 06 SR Hilux
Im sure there are fuel consumption gains to be made

Im not certain but dont these come with auto hubs as standard?

There are several posts associated with your concerns.
I thought this (non free wheeling hubs) was a typo mistake when wanting to find out the pros & cons of the hilux, but after research I found this is the case (I believe a retrograde step back to the old series 1&2 landrover).
Further research suggests that a free wheeling hubs kit is available from the US but costs several thousands.
Many Hilux owners are cheesed off with the constant where on all the where & tare on the front end's diff, axles, CVs, etc, let alone the extra fuel costs associated with the motor having to drive these extras.
After hearing this I went looking elsewhere for another 4wd ute WITH free wheeling hubs.
