Hi All,

I am fitting a Terratrip to my '99 GU Patrol and need to find out which wire and what colour and where I would find the speed sensor wire.

Thanks in advance

The speed sensor it self is located on the transfercase out put shaft housing.
It will have two wires on it. you could make a connection there.
Or trace the coloured wire's back to the dash.

Or try here
down load a work shop manual an look at the wiring diagram

I only ever made one mistake
and that's when I thought I was wrong!

Hi Trev
You have two types of sensor you can use. One is the interface electronic unit that is in the wiring from the speedo or you can use the jap gear box probe unit that attaches to the speedo drive at the gearbox. I have the wireing diagrams for both
Cheers
