Hi Everyone,
We haven't been out to the Centre for quite a few years. I realise we need permits to travel the
Great Central Road from Uluru west, but do we also need to pay for the park entry fees to travel out past the Olgas?
Thanks in advance,
Sally

Hi Sally
If you show your permits at the Uluru toll booth, you can go through without paying the park entry fee, but will be told not to go into
Kata Tjuta.
The permits for the NT and WA sides are easy to get from the CLC in
Alice Springs for NT and can be done on line, and the Ngaanyatjarra office in Alice for WA. We organised to apply for the latter by fax to them from the tourism office in
Yulara as we could not predict our time frame and you need to nominate time of travel fairly accurately. The NT permit gives you a three weeks 'window' to do the one day travel.

Hi Sally
We have been out through the Booth 5 times and no you do not have to pay. We have only ever been told once that you must go straight out on the Docker River Road.
Cheers
Stephen
