In August we are looking at driving our vehicle (100 series wagon) from western vic to the Kimberly -
Gibb river rd. region via Alice and the Tanami rd.
Kalumburu etc. Away about 2-3 weeks. Due to limited time thinking it would be good if we could find someone who would like to either do the trip in reverse ie. we drive up do our tour and fly
home from
Broome or
Darwin and they fly up and do a trip and drive
home. Either sell them the vehicle or go halves and revalue on c/over.
Alternatively we could just sell the wagon (purchased for the trip 2nd hand) in either centre.
Looked at hiring a vehicle and apart from very limited availability - very expensive!
Has anyone been involved in a similar arrangement or is anyone keen to give it a go?
I have done the same thing between friends on a trip to
Perth last year - worked very
well for all concerned.
Cheers.

I would suspect you'll sell a car for more in W.A. than in Vic. Especially a 100 series.
Combine that with the fact that everything else costs more in
Broome and you might be onto a winner.
Good Luck.

What is the 100, petrol / diesel / turbo / auto / manual / std or gxl? I know someone up there who may be interested.
