Hi Everyone, I have the opportunity to purchase a Rocky 1992 2.8 turbo diesel for around $4,000.I haven't had a good look at it yet, although the body looks straight and it has done around 200,000 ks, what should I look out for? and what about the price, any comments gratefully appreciated.
Cheers avocaboy

Rust was the biggest problem in some of the bodies, the drivetrain in them is pretty much bulletproof, the engine will go for three times what it has already done if looked after (5k oil changes etc etc.).
They are a pretty tough little jigger and gave years of service if looked after.
Lots of parts interchangeable with Toyota's of the same vintage.
Unless in immaculate condition the price is on the high side but indicative of the durability of them.
