G'day All
Anyone driven around or flown over Macquarie Marshes recently and can comment on the amount of water around in the area?
Cheers
John

G'day JS
We're also going to be at Willie Retreat in early July (8-9). We were in touch with Myra about three months ago and she reported more water and more birds than they'd seen for years but We were last there in 2006 and it was as dry as the proverbial dead
dingo's donger. We're just trying to get an independent observation.
Rob (on www.campertrailers.org) referred us to the
Nyngan Riverside Caravan Park for info and I will follow up with them. They apparently operate helicopter flights over the marshes. We are heading to
Cape York ex
Canberra so I don't think we'll be indulging in a helicopter flight in the first couple of days of the trip.
Cheers
John
