I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has been through the
Diamantina national park (QLD) lately and especially about the
river crossing there. I'm heading from
Longreach to
Opalton then to cork, old cork,
Diamantina Lakes and then to Wills and
Boulia.
regards, Mark

This note may be of some use...... was a reply I put to another post the other day............. "May be of interest - was talking to a bloke on HF last night re Diamantina NP - he said all the main tracks in the
park are open (2 weeks back some
places were still very 'squishy') - but the Warracoota circuit track is still closed. Can't say, re your other points..........."

Hi, thank you for this info. My mother lives near there and says it has not rained in the last couple of months, so I imagine the
river crossing being ok. I just like to check before I get in to deep :)

Thank you very much for letting me know. I'm looking forward to the drive from old cork to the Diamantina NP and then across the river and up to the north west.
regards, mark
