to quote Tom Waits, LOL.....
Anyways, we're heading out there next week, I've been watching with much interest the info regarding the flood waters. Amongst others, Stephen from
Clare has been doing a great job! We plan to head from
Gold Coast to
Nindigully,
Thargomindah, Innaminka, Cameron Cnr,
Lyndhurst,
Coober Pedy, Ayers
Rock, Alice, Mt Dare, Simpson,
birdsville,
Home.
Along the way we want to see
Lake Eyre, & The
Birdsville Track Ferry. I haven't read any info about the road/track conditions between Innaminka and the general area that The Ferry is in, and the
Lake Eyre district.
My question is this, are the tracks passable between Innaminka and the area I have mentioned? We're
well set up for the travel, just would like to know what conditions to expect.
Cheers
Brian

Hi Brian, we just got back from Innaminka today and my advice would be to ring the roadhouse to get an up to date road report. Our advice before we went was that alot of roads were closed and even the SA road signs said the roads were closed but locals told us they were open and when we went over them we found them to be in very good order. If you are going to
the dig tree I suggest you make your way yo Innaminka via the
dig tree circuit route to the north. The scenery along that way is amasing and it is
well worth the extra hour or two extra travel. I will be posting some photos of that area as soon as I can figure out how to(next couple of days). The country is amazing at the moment. Hope you have a great trip, Cheers Michael

I will ring the roadhouse, that's good advice, thank you.
