hi aaron
that was one incredible journey by a fair dinkum tough bloke
and his dog was just as tough and so sad that it got a bate and never made it to the end of the journey
what a legend
he must be made of the same stuff as some of the early day
explorers but they did'nt know what was ahead and did'nt have a map like he did but he still did it tough and rough over a very long period
cheers id recommend to all to watch this video

The link has gone but as an aside my friend Denis Bartell walked solo from
Burketown to
Port Augusta about 30 years ago.
He is at the moment writing a book about it.
He has also walked the Simpson both ways solo as
well
One Of his DVD's is available called "Desert Walker"
