gday wolf,
i purchased a 94 patrol in february with an all states warranty and my water pump carked it in june. i rang them and told them i had a problem and they gave me a mechanics to go and see and it all went well. the only thing i paid for was the coolant which i knew about so it was no shock.

Wolf,
Just make sure you read the fine print re servicing, and follow it to the letter.

For the price i wouldnt get it again.
$1000 and i just blew my rear main seal that then filled the clutch with oil $1500 later because its an "oil leak" nothiing was covered.
Part of the thing is that you have to get it serviced every 6 months or 10k, so for my triton that only gets weekend use its a waste of money as im suppose to get it serviced every 15k.

I rekkon your better off getting an NRMA inspection (i dont work for them at all) getting the things they find wrong fixed before buying it and then getting another one (i think the first one is $100 then if you get the same car done again its only $40). And then saving the $1000 and bank on any repairs hopefully cost under that amount.
Good luck i hope it helps.
Guy
