Best steel rim is the factory 105 series rims from rigid front axle landcruisers from 1998-2006. I think you can still buy them new from Toyota - about $130 each while stocks last. A mate bought 10 of them a few months back for his 79series.
ROH and Speedy have been good in the past and I've had both - not sure of the others.

All 105 series (rigid front axle 100series) rims will fit your 76 series.

HK,
The only wheel still stocked by the Toyota dealers is the steel 16x8 and probably the steel 16x6.5 (both 105series).
The alloys that fitted the 105series were the Snowy (1998-99) and Royale (until 2002) were both sold off in 2003.
So the 16x8 wheel you want looks like this:

Well done - they are the best steel wheels you can get for your vehicle, and at the moment the price is very good.

I met a guy in
Broome who has a troopie towing a 21 foot van.
He had split an ROH rim completely around the centre on the way up from
Perth on the Bitumin.
gave him a start as the tyre immediately deflated. I have no idea if he had it overloaded , but a cautionary tale.
Regard sPhilip A
