2 water pumps ?

G'day,
I've got a Roadstar Caravan fitted with a 'Whale Tiptoe' foot operated water pump for the sink. This works ok, but can I add a 12v pump along with it?
If so where do I place the 12v pump - inlet or outlet side of foot pump.

I would do tee into outlet line if it was
mine, and insert a non return valve between tee and foot pump for safety, to take pressure off foot pump non return valve.
