G,day.. I have a '94 Diesel Troopy & have been having some issues with rear tank.. It is using fuel when dashboard switch is off. Has anyone had this problem ? Would be happy to hear of any suggestions to fix this problem. Regards Kev.

you will need your gauge repaired . the contacts in the switch will be stuck(welded) together it is a reasonably common problem

I don't really have a fix but rather a simple solution, cost free.
Fill both tanks, use the fuel in the rear tank first till it runs out, then swap over to the front tank.
That is what I do with
mine. I hate using up the front tank first because the fuel light then stays on for the duration of the use of the rear tank. If you use up the rear tank first you should have no problems.
