Can anybody tell me the GCM for a 2010 Nissan Patrol 3.0TD? We will be pulling a van with GVM of 2750kg. I cannot find the Patrol's GCM anywhere.

Thanks,

Anthony

Check out the VIN plate on the bulkhead.

Some of them had it there on an aluminium plate popped to the bulkhead.

I think it was about 6250kgs or thereabouts. Haven't got mine any more so can't check.

THanks for that. the dealer has just confirmed the same. Did you tow with yours? If so, will the vehicle handle a 2.75tonne van well?

Mine was an earlier model, towed a 2 tonne van. Kept it for 6 years and most of it's life was towing.

It was running as good as the day I bought it when I traded it in at 195000ks

It is a manual and the van is 2.75t loaded. I trust the Patrol will be up to the task.

Thank you for feedback. I will post the performance and hope it supports all of the positive comments rather than the negative.

I had a series III 3.0Tdi and thought it was a great car. I traded it for a 100series cruiser and it's good but the patrol was just as good. They both have their good and bad.

I towed around Oz with the Patrol and it was great. The only advise I offer is to try and park on level or downward slopes where possible. The clutch doesn't really like taking off up hill pulling over 2 ton.

Cheers.
