new triton power chip

just picked up my new diesel triton just looking at puting a power chip in it. Has anyone done this to a triton or any other diesel any feedback on what brand and downfalls ????? what to look for,what not to do.

I have seen them in many vehicles and they work

We have on in the rodeo and the peugeot and they work well in both

Is your Triton an auto or a manual. If it is a manual it will probably have a dual mass flywheel. Dual mass flywheels do not take kindly to increasing the power of the motor. Read the following:

They also do not seem to stand up to severe operations like a lot of off road driving or heavy towing. I have noticed in other newsgroups that those that give their vehicles a flogging are those who go through their flywheels early.
