Has any one drove into to
bathurst head via lakfield this year as the
ranger tells me it it impossible

Yep it is impossible at present. Several tried and failed miserably last week.

A bloke over on Ausfish posted a trip report there from last week. Apparently two decent soaks to get through atm.
They saw where some had made it through the first, but not the second so I suppose they were first in for the season.
