Gid'ay all, Well, where dose it all end? Next project is to grunt up the standard alternator to cater for light banks, winch battery recovery, compressors and all the other gadgets we bolt and screw on to our trucks. I'd like around 100 amp output. Question: does anyone know of a make/model of alternator, to replace the Std unit for a GQ TD42 24v diesel. Adaption to fit wouldnt be a problem but the unit would need the vacume unit attached or again dose anyone know how to get around this one also. Look faward to any help on this one.

Jump on the GQ list, and talk to Nick Walker, he is a guru on GQ alternators..
