Mt Isa- Diesel: 1.30
Camoweel: 1.76
Barkley : 1.79
Cape Crawford: 1.98

thats for Diesel only!
worth filling up Jerrys if your heading across to Tennant Ck from MT ISA.

Cape Crawford is one of the dearest places on the planet. We went into Borroloola where there are two fuel outlets, both heaps cheaper than Cape Crawford, and chose the cheaper of the two. We were heading east and topped up at Camooweal before going to visit Lawn Hill en route to Mt Isa - but we have a big tank.

There are three outlets in Borroloola MH. Not being picky, just taking the opportunity to mention that the first one on entering town is always a few cents a litre more expensive. A couple of KM up the road, there are two more TJS on the left and the Bulk Store on the right. Their prices are always similar (within a cent or 2) to each other and cheaper than the first one.

Cape Crawford (Heartbreak Hotel) is now under new management. I'm told they have reduced some prices, but I'm not sure about fuel. We are in the area (King Ash Bay, near Borroloola). If I hear anything about reduced fuel prices I'll post the info.

The coles espress as you enter MT Isa from the North/west seems to be the best if you have a coles docket. The extra 2 cents for purchases in store do not apply to gas bottles in that outlet however. This 6 cents off makes it $1.20 dieso. (last week)

Were you there for the weekend races and how was it? How many people threre? We spoke to the RM Williams people on the way up. Love their trucks, did you see it?

You need a decent fuel tank setup, then you can by-pass all the expensive places, I done 2000Klms towing my Van , Southern Cross WA to Pt Augusta, didn't have to pay dearly for fuel across the paddock. capacity is 360 Ltrs.
