Anyone know where I would get a good deal trading the brand new Dunlop Grandtrek tyres off 3 Prado GX 150s and 1 Landcruiser GXL 200s for BFG A/Ts (so 20 tyres in total)? Looking around the Toowoomba and Brisbane areas. I am also lead to believe the BFGs in 245/70R17 (Prado) and 285/70R17 (cruiser) are not available for a few months.
Cheers

Hi,
Over here (WA) at the moment Michelin (BFG importers) are having their buy 4 tyres get a free compressor offer going.
Not sure what's happening on the east coast.
Sounds like you have done some leg work already re availability.
Wanting 20 tyres surely would give you some 'buying' power....do you have any Tyres Plus dealers near you.
You will probably be disappointed with the trade-in price anybody offers you.
If you are serious about wanting these tyres & depending on how hungry the dealer is.....you could negotiate a price now & buy them & have them put aside for you.
Depending on the trade price offered it may be more benifical to wear out the Dunlops then get the BFG's.

Tried the boy's at Tyre Power.
In my dealings with them, in the past, they are always only too willing to work in with prople .

Tyres Galore opposite Bunnings in Caboolture may help.

Bob Jane Caboolture have given me the supposed wholesale price on a new Dunlop when I bought a set of Pirellis.
