Hi, Can anyone tell me if wireless internet works up Cape York QLD ? If so does wireless work north of Wiepa around Skardon River area ? Any info will be appreciated as going up the cape in august ..thanks

Have used Telstra Next G with the 21 dongle in Bamaga and Weipa.
Coen also should have signal but I have not tried it.

i have used wireless internet through next g many places on the cape, just works when near a tower, weipa is good, north to mapoon, bamaga, seisa is good, lockhart, chilli beach good, coen, archer river good, laura good and for places in between you just have to be lucky - sometimes you can get a connection but mostly not !
