Hi all,
Our new van is due into WA end of July we want to fit solar panels all prewired etc but can you put us in contact with someone in WA that does know what they are talking about regarding
Solar Power and speaks in laymans terms regards Alan.

I hope you specified what wire to use in the "prewire" Alan.
I didn't when I ordered our van to be built, I didn't know any better.
When we went to fit the 2 x 120w panels I wanted the fitter said that the wiring wasn't capable of carrying the required current.
When I checked with the dealer they said they wire for 55w(I think it was) unless heavier wiring specified.

You could try Murray at the Caravan Repair Centre in Beckenham. I got them to do a system in a Jayco
Heritage a few years ago and also just recently in our Windsor. Very happy with both jobs. Alan
