i like this site and especially the fourm i won't be able to afford a trip to your contry anytime soon so this how i am getting my kicks.

so on the iron what about old stuff.
i have been a and still a fan of that international scout now i know you guys have seen them in fact i think they where built in queens land? not sure

currenty i am restoring a 1980 scout from the ground up!!!

Dont see many Scouts over here, specially in last few years..

in 80's bloke up the road had one, never seemed to be without the bonnet up.. but that could have been him.

When I lived in Aberdeen South Dakota, there were 3 in our units, 2 in cammo paintwork.

Wow not seen an International Scout around here for donkeys years, I am not sure if they were made in Qld though, I don't think we have an international plant here, most vehicle plants are down south aren't they?

funny i thought no one else had any.
what do you want to know as two friends use them even now in Daylesford in Victoria,
will see them soon and ask if you like?
all i know is he has had the car 15 years and no major works done and one guy probably does SFA when it comes to maintenance(but only drives around town).
let ya know when i hear what you want?

Get the feeling that the old Ford assembly plant at Meeandah near the airport in Brisbane did also do assembly work on International from time to time,,,know that in the late 70s to early 80s the plant did most small runs,such as LTDs, trucks ect.
