In a couple of days it's our intention to tow our van (3.5 tonne Bushtracker) from Kingoonya to Wirulla through the Lake Gairdner and Gawler Ranges region in South Australia.

I'm after track condition info as up to date as possible.

On the Roads Report section here on EO it says:
"Considerable Rain Damage in the area Drive to the Conditions and obey all restriction Notices. "

Is this correct? The update date was 25th June. I don't want to get down those tracks and find myself facing a boggy situation.

All advice greatly appreciated.

Gonebush,
SA Transport site report from 8.38am 28th June: caution between Kokatha and Wirulla due to rain damage.
The area has got a fair bit of rain yesterday and today.
I'd stick to the bitumen.

Towed a Cavalier on that route a few years ago , 20 mm of rain would make a 3.5 tonne van susceptible to bogging (at least you will be comfortable whilst it dries out
