Well my mate and I have just spent the last week travelling all over
Rudall River NP and have just arrived in
Newman.
While in the NP, everyone we met said... Do you know Mick 'O? Yes I say.. on EO and by rep.
Well we just saw "him".... he is amazing... lol...
OR..... "You just missed him... "He" left this morning... or last night... or yesterday..."
So I still have not met up with that intrepped blogger in person....
Can you be certain "He is not a ghost? He just seems to morphe from place to place...lol... Must be a pretty magic new "truck" he has along with those quad bikes.
regards
PS... sorry I won't be able to read your comments to this till about the 16th. But fire away anyway.

G'day All
The "Big O" and his group were heading out of
Newman around miday yesterday (thursday) for the
Great Sandy Desert. Ihad a quick yack to Mick on wednesday evening at his chosen caravan park in
Newman.
I was out of town up in the
Ophthalmia Range ~ on tour ~ and heard the banter over the CB radio.
All was going to plan apparently !!

Hi all,
well we are back from our trip to Rudall and karinjini NP... AND we still didn't see "HIM"
Apparently he was in Karinjini the same time we were, but still didn't see him or the new truck.
We had an absolute ball, even if the weather was very windy and cold. At least it didn't rain until after we left. We saw a lot of vehicles covered in mud from their trips on various dirt tracks.... but our timing was perfect.
With the exception of Winjana
Gorge and
Tunnel Creek (on the way
home - roads closed due to the rain) we completed every aspect of our planned trip.
Covered more than 6880km, and used more than 1100ltrs of fuel in 22days. No flats, no damage to speak of and had an awesome time.
Very happy.
regards
