I wacked one in an old corolla I had, 69 model 2 door, was probably the only person with one in that model corolla. Found a Mark4 under dash unit at the tip one day, checked it out at work no leaks so got an air compressor from wreckers to suit the 3y motor, got an condensor from a holden barina (resonably small) wacked it behind the grille on one side of the radiator, (had to make up some brackets pretty easily done, electric fan, wacked the unit under the dash, got an aircon place to pipe it up for me and wow, use to shoot bits of ice at me, would freeze the knee caps, those were the days playing around with stuff, wouldnt buy a vehicle without it now, getting soft in the old age, Not sure you would even be able to buy one now unless from a wreckers maybe but would be pretty rare now I reckon, dont forget the old CL/CM valiants had them under the dash, nice and slim too.....Regards Steve M

Yep the old Mk IV is the go, lots of vehicles had them fitted as "integrated" units by some aftermarket fitters.
We had an old Range rover which had what we thought was a fully integrated a/c setup but upon investigation it was found to be a MkIV with a different duct system on it.
It now resides in the Humvee with a commodore heater core and a duct system to suit.
Have a poke around in any 70 and 80's vehicle at the wreckers and you will probably find one.

Does it have bucket seats or one of those useless 1 1/2 seats like most "commercial" Toyota's.
If it has buckets then maybe you could mount it on the rear wall of the cabin.
Otherwise it is under the dash on the passengers side.
