Hi
the site
http://www.campertrailers.org/ is a good
forum for off road camper trailers.
We used it to sell a trailer and seems to be very
well organised. None there at the moment but you can alos post wanted items
cheers

Hi Lyndon,
Will 2nd, the campertrailers.org site, we sold our T-van on the site not long ago only took one day. When I looked last week, there was two wanted ads for T-Vans. Maybe a phone call to track-trailer in Melb they might be able to point you in the right direction??
Cheers Steve.

Hi Steve & Lorraine
Can we be rude and ask what model, age, condition and price your van went for? :-)

Hi Lyndon,
Ours was bought new in 04 there was no model names then, we had everything fitted to ours except the extra
water tank & the battery charger. It was sold for $31,000 in excellent condition after many trips even up the CSR. A chap from SA bought it & is still happy with it.
All the best with your search Cheers Steve

Hi Lyndon,
Unfortunatly they dont get sold very often and there is a strong demand for 2nd hand ones which drives up the price. Have you tried the Tvan
forum? Go to Tracktrailers web site and follow the links.
Cheers Wilko

Gday Lyndon,
We bought our 2003 Tvan earlier this year. At the time there were about 4 on the Trading Post and a couple on the camper trailer sites and 2 on RV point. We ended up asking a friend if he was interested in selling his, and he did. Back then a new Canning model cost about $41k. 2001-2004 went for $26k-$32k. 2005+ went for about $30-35k.
Occasionally one came up on Ebay but you need to set up the alerts.
At the moment there's almost no used ones around. New prices went up a couple of grand recently. There's a bunch of new ones on Trading Post.
If I didn't buy this one, I probably would have just bought a new one - you can get the base Sport Model for about $31k. It lacks most of the extras - no kitchen or awning etc. But if you buy new, then you get the track and wheels that you want and everything is new.
Mine has needed few repairs - new brake linings and magnets, gas struts, battery, wiring and it cost me a fair bit to change from 6stud to 5stud hubs.
Might have to be patient.
Cheers
Phil

I brought my second hand one a month or so back out of Queensland, 1,600 km up to get it and 1,600 km back - the best trailer I have ever towed, just so
well behaved.
I had gone down to Track Trailer in
Melbourne and spoken to them,
Ross had mentioned a dealer who hires them out in
Melbourne has an ex hire one for sale but because of my schedule was unable to view it, so made an offer on the Queensland one.
There is also a mob in
Canberra that are selling an ex rental one, I think they are called Independent Trailers. Catherine is the woman's name, Peter I think is the bloke.
