Hi,
I have just heard from my father who is at
Brewarrina at the moment, that it is raining and the roads for the Darling run are closed.
I have contacted the
Bourke shire and have confirmed that the roads from
Bourke down the Darling are closed.
The good news if any is that the rain is only light, so I hope all the planning and packing is not going to go to waste.
We will still head off and meet Dad at Bre and make plans from there.
William

Thanks for the info. We're heading out to
Menindee via Ivanhoe tomorrow. It's tar until Ivanhoe so hopefully the Ivanhoe to
Menindee link is open.
Cheers - Pat

There has been a bit of rain down that way in the last day or so, better
check before head towards
Menindee.

We are heading off on the 17th, up to
Bourke and then down the south eastern side to
Wilcannia, up to
White Cliffs then back down to the Medindee Lakes and out through
Lake Mungo.
Well that's the idea anyway. Have 4x4 and a offroad camper so should be OK. Will be interested how you go.

we are leaving Sunday 4am, staying 2 days at the MACQUARIE MARSHES then planning to drive down the
darling river run.
Hopefully the rain has cleared by then?!

The roads in that area are generally only closed for about 24 hours after teh rain stops. I would carry on planning and packing and
check things as you go.
Luckily in that part of the world there are a number of options for alternate trips should the river prove a no go.
