Far North Qld Road Conditions Feedback

Don't know how the crossing is this year at Dunbar, but late July last year we camped on the south side of the crossing on our way back down from the Cape (came across via Chillagoe) the crossing was pretty well washed out, a guy heading south tried unsuccessfully to cross towing Tvan, lucky there were others camped here to recover him back to north side. Think he had to go east to Gamboola crossing. So if you go there to cross you might as well go up thru Palmerville to the PDR at Fairview.
