Hi - we are heading off to WA in 3 weeks & on the way some relatives want to meet us for a couple of days at Bladensburg National Park near Winton. They are camping but we are in a 18ft pop top with 4WD. The NP website says the camping is for tents & camper trailers.
Has anyone been in there with a van? I will ring the NP office but thought that some of the forum members may know if its suitable for a van. Thanks, Willy

Hi Willy,

You'll have no troubles with your van, nice spots by the river, tracks were ok when we were there late last year but obviously conditions can change. Just take it easy and enjoy.

We where there Sep last year, camped by the river very nice. Loads of bird life late in the arvo's. The camp by the river had some large camper vans in house at that time.
There is some great spots to explore in the park, found all the tracks well looked after & 2wd.

Have fun

Cheers
David

Hi Willy,
I was there 14/5/10 and providing it has not had heavy rain you will have no problem in camping at many spots in the area.
Some excellent river access although the water level is not all that high.
