second that ... trillions .......
although rum seems to keep em at bay, cant feel a thing after the 7th rum, must be the vitamin "B" in Bunderberg Bear that does it :-)
Keeps the kids at bay, the missus at bay, keeps the mob in the next camp at bay, cures colds, cures hangovers, cures cures .... awsome stuff

G'day Steve

I've been out to Sampson a million times in the past 30 years, and unless I was right in the mangroves, have never had a problem. Some people though, seem to be sandfly magnets. My aunty gets flogged almost anywhere on the beach in the north west. She comes home covered in spots and nobody else gets touched.

Anyway a cold beer and the best fish and chips in world at the Tavern will make it all worth it.

good luck,

Waz

I got smashed up there last year around that time. Over 60 bites on one arm. I can recommend covering up if they like you. Also take some "mega B" every day for a couple of weeks before. I also use Baby Oil, Metho and Dettol in a spray bottle. I got hit really badly at Balla Balla, out from Whim creek.

Buy.. The Locals..sandfly and mozzie stuff..thats exactly what its called, all natural ingredients..I get smashed everytime I'm in sandfly country and this cream really works...they sell it in the Samson deli and the caravan parks...made by a local as well.

Was there this time last year in the new van park and had no troubles with them.

A lovely new park with excellent hardstands on all sites

Could do with a few more loos which were on the plan for this year apparently.
