I've done a search, but can't find anything relating directly to The Broadwater camping area.

The DERM web page for Sundown indicates that it's an easy drive in to The Broadwater, but the campsite booking page says that it may be difficult to take a caravan longer than 4m in. Our off road caravan is 15' plus drawbar. We tow with a 105 Landcruiser.

Has anyone towed a caravan or large camper to The Broadwater. If so, how difficult is it?

Thanks,

Peter.

G’day Peter,
I can’t recall any reason why you couldn’t get your van in. I’ve stayed there and most of the sites are bollard off and you may not be able to negotiate tour van onto all sites. There are however four sites (I think four) immediately you enter the camp ground that are open grassed areas where you would have no problem at all. From memory, the four grassed sites are for those self registering while the others have to be booked online.
I took a tent there but will take my camper next time.
Regards,
Myles.

Thanks Myles, that's exactly the information I was looking for.

That's a well set up camp.

Peter.
