port douglas mid august camping & fishing through lakefield national park to princess charlotte bay. anyone made this trip?.
like update on road conditions mainly,spots of interest,travell tips.
we think we are prepared for this trip but may be able to get hints from fellow travellers.

Hi Marjorie, Hubby and i have just got back from 3 weeks travelling around
cape York. A week in Lakefield area. The roads were good, lots of road construction happening through from
Cooktown. We stayed a night at Endeavour Falls Van Park. Very pretty spot to stay and nice people. There are lots of points of interest up there. Just go where you feel like it really.
