It all began on Friday Afternoon, I hook on the trailer and go get 2 loads of wood, Then Noel K from
Darwin arrives with a bag of Prawns and a fridge full of XXXX. Next morning Noel hops into the Troopy with me and we go over drag the railway iron bars up and down the
airstrip .

Anyhow he hops out to take a few photo's and spots a herd of cattle in the paddock where they should have been so decides to take a photo of them, he takes a couple of steps toward them and they all bolted out the
gate and onto the
airstrip, Now if I were a cow and seen Noel K stalking me I think I'd do the same, but we got them back in and shut the
gate ,then after I showed him the WW2 sites here we got stuck into the Prawns.
Then the 100 guests began rolling in for a wedding and ceremony being held here last night and the place was booked out

Today started off with a run down the strip to scare a few Wallabies off then wait for this group to arrive and escort them to the
parking area, they then went on a tour of the
Adelaide River Railway Museum and
Litchfield NP, after lunch I took 2 trailer loads of rubbish to the dump, 80% of it was bottles.
The old fella Noel K packed up his Camper Trailer and headed
home, tomorrow morning the 6 aircraft depart for thier next leg of the tour.
Phew almost back to normal here .

Doug,
I gotta point out something that I believe you are doing wrong.
That old girl of yours is never going to get airbourne if you keep towing railway lines behind her.
Have a good one

Hey Rockape,
No, he can get it off the ground mate, especially after prawns and beer.Trying to keep him in a straight line on the strip is a worry though!
Why do you think I got out and took my chance with the moo cows?
Noel K.

Gday Doug
That old Volvo Motorhome looks like my old tour bus from Alice. Do you know if it has a road
ranger gearbox in it?
Cheers

Found a photo taken a few years ago, tell him to watch the coolant pipe that runs along the bottom of the motor, can be dislodged on the slightest bump, bugger to get the air out of the system, takes about 40 mins with the motor on 1000 rpm (high idle).
