I have been a registered visitor for a number years and I have finally decided to take the big leap and become a paid up member. I have been a regular reader of the
forum and have learnt quite a lot from the experienced members and contributors, that has enabled me to set up my car and caravan so I can
free camp without worry. I look forward to many more years of education from you all.

Well done for taking the plunge Michael, this place has saved my butt on more than one occasion with good advice and a bit of banter.

Michael we all learn things over the years from experience. But sometimes something new comes up and we have no idea how to approach it. This is where this and other similar forums come into their own. It allows us to tap into the knowledge base of ordinary people who have been there and done that and found that it worked. Thank you for the welcome. Michael N

Being from Victoria is alright. You play a funny brand of football but have nothing to do with the rivaly with NSW. I'm old enough to remember what it was like to lose the interstate series each year. I am enjoying it now!!! Sport is one thing but the enjoyment of life takes precedents.

Hi Michael,
Welcome to EO.
Like you, I used the
forum for a while before I decided to become a member. It has been a valuable source of information for us and I enjoy keeping up with what is being asked and disvcussed on here even when I dont have anything to add.
I use the
Blogs part to keep a journal of our trips and really enjoy this part of my
membership.
Next year we hope to get to the
Silverton National Gathering- our first - so it will be great to meet some of the people who I feel I already know.
Regards,
Heather

Welcome aboard Michael - and hopefully your wife will pop in here occasionally as well - the
forum's not just for the boys! There is so much good info and so many good ideas on here, and like Heather we also enjoy reading and writing
blogs. Its nice to be able to share adventures with others.
Cheers,
Val

Thanks Val. Karen loves
camping and
caravanning but does not like computers too much. In time she may become comfortable to this new technology but until then you will have to put up with me.
