There was a thread quite a while ago about the new Jet Tent by OzTent.

I've been keeping an eye out for any further information about it and have just found this website http://jettent.com/ which details all you need to know about it.

Hope this helps others who were also curious about this new tent (I say new even though it just looks like the BlackWolf tent!)

Cheers,

Jason.

Probably made in the same giant factory as Black Wolf,by the same underpaid workers. I'll give it a miss. Over priced rubbish for lazy campers with too much disposable income. Aussie made tourers look like much better value to me. End of rant. Phil.

From the site:

Jet Tent is a new generation range of touring tents by Oztent - the multi award winning Australian maker of the world famous 30 Second Tents. Jet Tents are designed for no assembly required, high speed, no drag set up. They offer generous room when erected and pack down to sizes that will fit in your car.

Australian maker??????

Had no idea that China was now part of Australia.

Yeah interesting, where are the Oztents made vs the Jet Tents.? The Australian maker of Oztents introduces the Chinese made Jet Tent.? They have been clever with words when talking about the Jet Tent. Where are the Black Wolf Turbo Plus tents made?

Nowadays everything is going offshore ..

Gidday

I have a Black Wolf Turbo and I have never seen anything on the tent or in the leaflet that says where it is made. To me that means China. It is my understanding that the Oz tent has been made in China for some years.

The Jet Tent appears to be a turbo tent with a bigger awning and appropriate accessories (side panels etc). Even the pictures and wording on the website is almost the same as those for the Turbo tent.

Regardless, both Oztent and Turbo tent seem to be fine products with many happy owners

Cheers
