We've been looking at getting a new camper trailer and came across Vic Getaway Campers on the web. They seem to be very cheap compared to others we have looked at. Has anyone any experience with them?

I can't answer about Vic Getaway Campers, but I think with campers the saying that you 'get what pay for' is particularly relevant.
We tried a cheap new camper trailer, a Tru Blu & to be honest it wasn't until we got it
home that it became painfully obvious how badly built the trailer itself was, along with several other issues.

Shaker, interesting to read your comments on the Tru Blu.
I have a 3 year old Tru Blu Eagle 4x4 camper and have just returned from a 11,000K trip, much of it on the dirt, including the Binns track. The only problems I had was with the vehicle. UHF antenna on the bull bar vibrated to bits & I did a tyre after I left the Binns track at
Tennant Creek (on the black top).

I also purchased a brand new Eagle, it was so badly built & finished that I never used it, it also weighed twice the weight shown on the compliance plate.
It was the only time in my life that I have ever been to litigation, either as a buyer or seller!
