hi
go and talk to your auto sparky, think narva or hella do xenon globes either +30 +50 or +90s they dont last quite as long but the extra light output is great for minimal outlay

As Stu said. I'm after the Philips +80's but have heard of (not seen) these +90's. I've had the +30 & +50's as they've come out and they're certainly good for the same wattage as a standard globe. The +80's are around $80 a pair but I've seen them once in an Autobarn sale for $50.

There are also the Fatboy globes from ARB? but more expensive though, over the $100 mark.

Cheers,

Mark.

Those Fatboys are the best you can get for that senario all right Mark and the name "Fatboy" comes from the filament construction which ensures a reasonable focuss and lifetime.

This site stills exists and contains and independant test in one of the earlier issues.

Don't waste money on blue bulbs.

If you do a side-by-side test it's obvious that they're dimmer - replace just one bulb to compare it with the original bulb.
