ningaloo & porta loos

I know you need porta loos on ningaloo station now,which we have.but can you use salt water in them or will the chemicals not work and also when full where do you empty the contents.

The idea of the porta potty is to reduce the waste to a slurry which is readily absorbed into the ground and perfectly ok to tip into a hole you will dig every few days back BACK from the beach - 300m into the bush from the shore line - details are outline on the info sheet you get from Ningaloo station when you check in. Note - you must only use enviro friendly chems if tipping into the ground - there are only 1 or 2 brands, sorry their names escape me just now. Talk to Phil about water - you shouldn't need to use salt water in your loo.

my advice is don"t go there. The place is run by a bunch of very odd people. we had a most unpleasant experience and as such my husband and I have had to take legal action regarding their physical an d verbal abuse etc.
