NO WAY.... it's all ours to enjoy, 365 days of the year, you can come see it, and feel it, but you can't have it.

No wonder ya now holed up, up there Doug.

I lived at Rapid Creek from 1061 to 1964, and had many wonderful times fishing, crabbing, snorkelling off Nightcliffe, sometimes even went to school, LOL, as a young teenager, before I went to sea with the Grey Funnel Line :-)

I think I hear the call...gotta make a move back north soon I feel.

As they say, You Never Ever Know, If You Never Ever Go....I've been, I know, and I'm coming back.

Enjoy mate, but we're coming back, ya hear LOL LOL.

Cheers mate.

Fred.

Fred
Had me worried there for a minute, thought you must have took part in the Battle of Hastings.

We really feel for you, we were in Alice Springs a few weeks ago when it was 5.9 at lunch time but now we are back in heaven although it hasn't been your typical dry season up here this year, it's warmer and more humit than normal but we are not complaining nor are the thousands of tourist up here at the moment, just try getting a powered site at any of the caravan parks. Hidden Valley Tourist Park is charging $300 a week plus power.
Cheers

I enjoyed my trip to WA, Rudall River and Karijini NP's... but it sure was cold. I am so glad to be back home (Darwin - NT) where the "real" weather is awesome everyday.... And as Doug said... you want to enjoy some of it... come up and enjoy it with us... but you can't take it with you... lol (:

Funny you should say that as I am normally looking for an excuse to go and do some paperwork, but it was too hottt in the office today, girls will not turn the heaters down. Glad to get back out side and clean a 25 seater bus after the footballers had it on the weekend. At least the drunken louts leave tips everywhere. lol. Some welcome, some not.
Cheers Pete

Brrrr! I think we had the warmest July night on record in Darwin last night; got down to 26 point something or another.

Cheers,

Tom.

I actually like cold nights you sleep so much better. We shut our bedroom door to keep it below 18c, prefer arround 15c in the bedroom for sleeping.
But it is whet you are use to.
Cheers Pete
