I am looking at a goldstream goldcharm 1999 camper. Has any one had any experience with these good or bad?

We purchased our 1999 Goldstream Goldcharn about 3 years ago after much research and have not regretted it once. Initially we had problems with the tow ball weight as the previous owner had added a heavy tool box and pole carrier to the front draw bar and along with the spare tyre was unbalanced and too heavy on the tow ball. So we added a rear bar and relocated the pole carrier and spare tyre to it and successfully solved that problem.
The camper is very light and easy to tow by our Toyota Corolla. Also, at times we have unhooked the camper and manually pushed and pulled it easily into the perfect camping position we required.
We have not had any problems with things breaking down or needing repairs. It seems to be sturdily built. The fridge and stove work well. We have an on road type. Ours also has electric brakes even though we dont legally need them we are glad we have them. Ours is the 2 berth model. We have seen a 4 berth model which would be more suitable for families.
We find the camper is big enough on the inside as we find we spend most of our time while travelling being outside anyway.
The only negative thing is that the bed is on the small side and would not be adequate if you were a large person or very tall. However, the mattress is very comfortable.
So overall we love our camper and would give it a 9 out of 10. Highly recommended.
