A while back someone posted a keypad code that you could punch into your Nokia GSM phone and it would give you the software version. Cant find it...have looked...anyone point me in right direction (please dont suggest I head toeards NZ :-))

The code you need is *#0000#. This will give you the software version (V--.--) & manufacture date.

If you do a search on gogle by putting in" Nokia cheat codes" youll open up a few sites that have that info and others such as when it was manufactured,if it has been repaired and others.Read the warnings carefully as some codes put in incorrectly or too many times can lock the phone up.
