Hi all. I have recently discovered a pin prick(and i mean small)of a leak on one of my blue air bags. The leak is right where the top of the bag is moulded to the brass ring next to the air hose.I have no idea what make they are by the way.The qusetion is,can the hole be sealed by any means,eg: glue or plastic welding or any other way as a new pair will be an expensive option.

I think you should find the brand and if possible the date fitted as there may have a warranty that would be voided if you try to repair.

If it is a Firestone Coil Rite airbag they did have an issue with a batch leaking around the brass inlet hose insert & were replacing them under warranty.
Check with the Airbag Man.

On a tour of the USA we bought a 2nd Hand Lincoln Continental and it has Airbag
suspension, Which did start leaking as we went on some tracks in Deliverance country Im sure a Lincoln has never been on before , We were lucky to get out with the rear
suspension on the bump stops.
Used same remedy as gbc and squirted Green Slime (similar puncture repair tyre goo as seen in SuperCrap Autos) into the system behind the pump, Fixed the problem & lasted another 6 weeks without trouble !!
