My 240v/20A Electro Battery Charger has worked perfectly since we bought our van about 7 months ago. Now it has stopped and I cant figue out what the problem is. I changed the 30A fuse in the bottom of it just in case this was the problem but it still isn't working. My questions
Is there another fuse somewhere in the unit?
Is there a safety device somewhere in my van that is stopping it working? The power point is fine, i have checked.
Is it dead?
Anyone else had this problem?
cheers
Dave

Stick your nose against it and have a sniff, if she smells burnt!
well then shes burnt out. I had a charger catch fire before.
Cheers.

Yeah Good point, I am not familar with this particular charger but often chargers blow fuses if they are connected and disconnected from the battery whilst powered. Thats what I like about the Cteks, spark free, shot circuit free and polarity protected. You hope nothing has failed to cause the fuse to blow
