Currently in White Cliffs enjoying the country .... albeit damp!

Diesel here is $1.45 and was wondering if anyone knew what the price is at Wilcannia.

Cheers

Hi Julie & John.

I topped up there on my way to the Wiluna Gathering. Dubbo $145 p/l.
Wilcannia. $1.98. I am sure that it cost $0.53 p/l to transport it 500 klms.
But then you do not have an alternative if you are low in the tank. :-((((

Second the above.

The BP Depot/Distributor if I remember rightly. Look out for wire cages enclosing the above ground fuel tanks.

Much cheaper than the Shell in the main street.

The bp is left over the bridge from Cobar? Down a few blocks and left again near the river. Follow the bodgy signs. Mike

or was it $5.00 per $50 ... can't remember, it was about 16 months ago...

i ran out of fuel 12k's short of the town ... the local motel owner came out to help but would only help if i agreed to stay at the motel for three nights at $76/night ... being that it was 6pm i tried to haggle 2-for-1 but no....so he left me there. Such is the travel for a single male...

after hiking in to sort fuel i dropped a 6pack at his door - inspite of all the expensive tourers parked at his cabins i reckon he needed charity much more than i did...

i remember thinking no wonder there seemed to be a little anger and lots of litter if people are treated like that, but then, i dont know the full story...

Always expensive at Willcania, try getting to Broken Hill or Cobar.
