I am hoping someone out there is successfully printing from topo Australia Basecamp. If so what printer are you using????
Have just used the Garmin telephone support who have told me I just have to find the right printer which will allow printing of the map without the Navteq logo blocking it out ...as it is "something" to do with licensing issues and there are no settings which will overcome this. They have told me, they have same issue printing to an HP printer. I have the same issue using a Brother printer.
They advise trying other friends printers!!!! Unbelievable!
Well what printers are people using out there that allow a proper map print?
Any suggestions welcome

I use both a Canon D380 laser printer/copier/fax for black/white prints, and HP Deskjet D2400 series printer for colour. The HP PSC 1315 all in one works but its not one I use as the printer is a bit of a pain all round (the software for it is huge and slows everything down).

P.S.
there is another way to get around it... use the Windows Snipping Tool to create and save an image of your map, screen or whatever.. then print it. Works a treat.

They probably wouldn't know where to find it.

Hi
Didnt you asked the very same question 3 weeks ago?
Garmin_GPS_60csx_printing_map_problems
Have you updated to the latest version of Basecamp as you said you were going to do?
Have you tried deleting the NavTeqOB.bmp again?
These are the only two (possible) solutions to you problem.
As mentioned in previous thread I am using latest version of basecamp with no issues - prints perfectly to HP printer....so brand name has nothing to do with it.
Cheers

I had been avoiding previous advice about upgrading to a more recent version as I didn't want to lose compatibility with Oziexplorer. In the end I bit the bullet and found upgrading to version 3.05 solved the printing issues. Thanks for all responses given.

Hi
Good to see problem solved
Out of curiosity what "compatibility with Oziexplorer" are you talking about?
Cheers
